Tips and Advice

Preparing for a sunbed session

Exfoliate: Remove dead skin cells with a gentle scrub 24 hours before your session to ensure a smooth, even tan.

Moisturise: Hydrate your skin with a quality moisturiser before and after tanning to prevent dryness and peeling.

Avoid makeup and perfumes: These can react with UV light and cause irritation.

After the sunbed session

Moisturise: Continue to moisturise your skin to maintain hydration and prolong your tan.

Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.

Hydrated skin tans easier and lasts longer!

During sunbed session

Start with short sessions:
If you're new to sunbeds, begin with shorter exposure times and gradually increase them as your skin develops a base tan.

Wear goggles:
Protect your eyes from potential damage by using goggles designed for sunbeds.

Use tanning lotions:
Tanning lotions help accelerate the tanning process, protect your skin, and moisturise, resulting in a deeper, longer-lasting tan.
Your skin can reflect as much as 40% of UV from a sunbed if you do not use a sunbed lotion, meaning it will take you 40% longer to tan !

Consider your skin type when determining tanning time. Fair-skinned individuals should start with very short sessions and avoid overexposure, if you are unsure on tanning time just as us !
